This valley is home to over 600 varieties of flowers, including stunning and rare blooms like the Blue Poppy, Brahma Kamal, Primula, Rhododendrons, and many more. During peak bloom, the entire valley looks like a colorful sea of petals.
If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of some elusive Himalayan creatures like the snow leopard, musk deer, Asiatic black bear, blue sheep, and the gorgeous Himalayan monal (Uttarakhand’s state bird).
Expect to cross dense oak and pine forests, walk beside the Pushpawati River, see cascading waterfalls, and gaze at glacier-fed peaks all around. It’s a photographer’s paradise—and pure therapy for the soul.
